Croatian Aviation Training Center (HZNS) is an integral unit of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences in Zagreb that specializes in providing comprehensive theoretical and practical training to civil pilots. HZNS operates a combined airworthiness organization, and is a certified FSTD operator, utilizing a synthetic flight trainer, of which the HZNS is the owner and operator. Since its inception in the early nineties, HZNS has produced 27 generations of civilian pilots, many of whom have found employment in airlines around the world. The center is situated at Lu\u010dko Airport in Zagreb and owns several aircraft, including a DV-20 Katana, three Cessna 172s, and one BE76 multi-engine aircraft. Upon completion of this program, students receive a professional pilot&#8217;s license with a multi-engine and instrument rating and certificate to cooperate in a multi-pilot crew. HZNS is the only organization offering this program in the Republic of Croatia. HZNS also provides various courses and pilot training, including training for class and instrument flight instructors. HZNS provides continuous airworthiness to its aircraft while also offering similar services to other clients who own general aviation aircraft in the Republic of Croatia.
